DAD is committed to producing contemporary art of excellence, supporting artists’ practice, stimulating cultural activity and feeding into Dover’s economy. With values of inclusiveness, thoughtful partnership and emotional responsibility, DAD aims to strengthen communities and widen perspectives through creative thinking and actions.

The long table at 7 Victoria Park in Dover has, since 2006, brought artists, architects, museum people and other creative practitioners together with residents, those in local government and business around a variety of topics all connected to Dover. Now formalized as part of the urban room network, this Dover Urban room will continue to host curated conversations related to Dover with a wide range of people and in a way that exemplifies the kind of town we want to live in.
